Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or equivalent nursing background preferred Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation Current BLS certification Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields Assist surgeons and nurses before, during, and after surgical procedures Verify equipment, instruments, and supplies are correctly set up and function properly Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout operative experience Adhere to hospital and departmental protocols for infection control and patient care Support and mentor other staff as needed
