1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Tech (CSA/CSFA - First Assist) with CVOR and cardiothoracic open heart experience for an acute care OR position at a Level II Trauma Center. Details Acute care hospital OR setting at a Level II Trauma Center Unit specializes in CSA or CSFA First Assist roles within the Operating Room Requires CVOR and cardiothoracic open heart experience, which comprises approximately 50% of the caseload Ability to scrub general cases is preferred Monday through Friday, day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM On-call responsibilities account for approximately 50% of the role, including overnight and weekend call 8-hour shifts on a 13-week contract Epic EMR is used in this position Requirements Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience required CVOR and cardiothoracic open heart scrubbing experience required BLS certification required Experience with Epic EMR License required if applicable Additional Information First Assist (CSFA) role involves active participation in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical cases Candidates with general scrubbing experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis Candidates should be prepared for a significant on-call commitment, including overnight and weekend availability
