Our clinical multidisciplinary approach to care delivers the correct intervention to every patient, every time through various pain management procedures including injections, open surgical cases with general anesthesia, physical therapy, and psychological services. Job Summary The Certified Surgical Technologist will ensure instruments and supplies are set up and sterile along with providing to surgeons in the operation room. The Certified Surgical Technologist will also be responsible for documenting in patient charts to ensure complete accuracy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (What You'll Do) Setting up instruments and equipment required for the procedure Sterilizing equipment and taking inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery Preparing the patient for surgery Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile throughout the operation Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery Appropriately documenting in patient charts Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (What We Are Looking For) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and/or Experience Requirements Certification in Surgical Technology (CST) required 1 year of perioperative or PACU experience preferred Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following, which is included, but not limited, to: Problem Solving
