Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Surgical Technologist, where you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. This energetic position involves preparing operating rooms, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and aseptic techniques. Your expertise will contribute to smooth surgical procedures across various specialties, including trauma, pediatrics, and critical care environments. We are committed to fostering a collaborative atmosphere that values precision, efficiency, and compassionate patient support. Duties Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by passing instruments, suturing, and managing surgical tools with precision Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety Monitor vital signs and physiological responses of patients during surgery, providing timely updates to the team Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile field Requirements Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program; current certification required Proven OR experience in hospital settings, including medical-surgical units and ambulatory surgery centers Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and infection control practices Basic life support (BLS) certification Excellent patient care skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environment
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
