Job Description
Job Overview Step into the operating room and launch your surgical career as a Student Surgical Technologist! This is your opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where teamwork, precision, and learning come together every day. You'll work side-by-side with experienced surgical technologists, nurses, and physicians while gaining real OR experience and building the skills needed to thrive in surgical services. What You'll Do Jump into OR preparation and help set the stage for successful surgeries Assist with scrub duties and support the surgical team during procedures Help maintain a sterile field and ensure a safe operating environment Support patient care during intraoperative procedures, including OB cases Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts to ensure safety and accuracy Set up instruments and assist with room turnover and sterilization prep Learn and grow under the guidance of experienced CSTs and RNs What You Bring Enrollment in a state-approved Surgical Technologist program Completion of at least two semesters of clinical coursework Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification
