1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week travel contract on a rotating schedule that includes call and weekend requirements. Details Day shift position working 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a call rotation and every 6th or 7th weekend Schedule follows a rotating 36/48-hour format (alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 hours); candidates who cannot accommodate this schedule will not be considered Float required within scope of practice Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Patient ratios may vary based on staffing and census Requirements Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required Current, active OR/surgical tech experience required AHA BLS certification required OR Tech certification required — NBSTSA or NCCT credentials accepted Active Compact or state license in hand required at time of consideration (license required if applicable) Driver's License required; address must match permanent address 2 professional references required: 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the last year Candidates must reside 75+ miles from the facility; no local candidates will be considered Additional Information Orientation is held bi-weekly Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be declared upfront with no changes accepted after submission Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment Travelers who have worked within the system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return SSN and date of birth are required for consideration Copy of certifications required for consideration
