We are seeking a skilled professional with a background in Cardiovascular Operating Room Technology for a contract position in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist program Certification in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technology required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Previous experience in a CVOR setting highly preferred Strong understanding of sterile techniques, instrumentation, and cardiovascular surgical procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to perform efficiently under pressure and handle emergencies
Responsibilities:
Assist the surgical team before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures Prepare, organize, and maintain a sterile field and surgical instruments Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor and ensure the availability of required supplies and equipment Adhere to strict protocols involving patient safety and infection control Accurately document procedures and actively participate in pre- and post-operative care Respond promptly and efficiently to intraoperative changes or emergencies This contracted role offers a dynamic experience in cardiovascular surgery, allowing you to contribute your specialized skills to a mission-driven team.
