2 Description American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience and NBSTSA certification for a hospital operating room position. Details Work in a 22-room hospital operating suite staffed 24/7 Surgical services cover general, GYN, GU, oral, ORL, bariatric, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine cases 12-hour day/evening shifts on a 3x12 schedule with start times of 7am, 9am, or 11am 36 hours per week with every third weekend as needed Every other holiday coverage required One call shift per assignment period May float to other OR campuses within the health system as needed Requirements Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery experience required Level 1 trauma experience required NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required, no other certification accepted BLS certification required License required if applicable Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed surgical specialties Must have graduated from an accredited surgical technology program per MA state requirements Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude required Additional Information Support a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical services department Collaborate with a large surgical team across a wide range of case types First-time travelers may be considered
