Job Description
The Surgical Technician renders surgical care to AENT patients in the Center under the supervision of the Surgeon and the Nurse Manager. Makes every effort to remain a flexible cooperative and supportive member of the AENT clinical team. Deals compassionately, professionally, and courteously with patients, their families, physicians, and fellow AENT staff. Key Responsibilities Maintains strict aseptic technique. Renders surgical care to patients in the Center, under the supervision of the nurse and/or the Nurse Manager. Cares for and maintains all equipment, instruments, and accessories. Cleans, stocks, and inventories the OR and procedure rooms as well as the clinical area. Assist physician during surgical procedures. Ensures the comfort and safety of each patient. Requirements Minimum of two (2) years previous experience preferably in otorhinolaryngology. Current BLS certification. Participation in ongoing continuing education. Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Specialty Care Networks' salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
