Job Description

Position Summary :
Capital Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Technologist to join our fast-paced orthopedic surgery center team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instrumentation Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures by anticipating surgical needs Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments and supplies Perform efficient preoperative and postoperative room setup and turnover Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and accreditation standards Maintain a clean and organized operating room before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other team members Assist with inventory management and supply restocking
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (preferred) Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred (CST) 2+ years orthopedic surgery experience strongly preferred Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical setting BLS certification required
