Job Description

Scrub Tech#26-22346 $44.62 - $51.00/hour Bangor, ME Onsite 13 weeks Job Description Day Shift 12.5 hours/day Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Scrub Tech for their Bangor, ME location.
Responsibilities:
Checking supplies and equipment needed for a procedure; Scrubs, gowns and gloves self, surgeon and assistants; Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operating and before the incision is closed; Assists in draping the sterile field; Passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique; Assists with terminal cleaning of room; Leans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization Assist in prepping the surgical suite for the next patient The Scrub Tech is also responsible for working with new employees and students and help train them in the Scrub Tech role.
Requirements:
Trade or Technical School (Certificate or Diploma) Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
Experience:
At least one year previous experience preferred
Minimum Years of Experience:
3 Certifications/Requirements NBSTSA
