Qualifications:

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician Proven experience in a surgical/operating room setting Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and operating room protocols Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment according to the procedure Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, anticipating instrument and supply needs Maintain a sterile environment throughout all procedures Handle specimens correctly and ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety standards Troubleshoot equipment and provide immediate response to emergency situations in the OR Accurately account for surgical instruments and supplies pre- and post-procedure Why Apply?
