Week Work Schedule:
7:00 AM to 5:30 PM This position is eligible for a $10,000 (minus tax) sign on bonus for over 2 years' experience or $7,000 (minus tax) sign on bonus for less than 2 years' experience, with work commitment. Current employees of any Northern Light Health organization or those with service breaks less than one year are not eligible to receive the sign-on bonus
Summary:
Assists in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
Responsibilities:
+ Maintains sterile operative fields. + Maintains inventory of medical supplies or equipment. + Assists healthcare practitioners during surgery. + Positions patients for treatment or examination. + Protect patients or staff members using safety equipment. + Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. + May perform other duties upon request.
Other Information:
+ Graduate of Accredited Surgical Technologists Program to include certification. + BLS required. Competencies and Skills + Behaves with
