Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Take your surgical expertise to the next level by supporting advanced cardiovascular care as a CVOR Tech. This contract opportunity is ideal for those with a strong background in cardiovascular operating room procedures, who excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Key Qualifications:
Experience as a CVOR Tech or similar role in a surgical setting Proficient in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and aseptic procedures Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during cardiovascular surgeries Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specific scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical support during cardiovascular surgeries, including setup and breakdown of sterile fields Prepare, organize, and manage surgical instruments and supplies throughout procedures Assist in positioning and preparing pre-operative patients under direction of surgical staff Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiology to ensure seamless procedural flow Maintain and monitor supplies, instruments, and operating environment for optimal safety and efficiency Contribute to accurate documentation and patient care records as required Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety guidelines at all times This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in a high-impact setting, working alongside skilled professionals dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes in cardiovascular care.
