Role Overview As a Clinical Tech, you¿ll play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff and physicians. What You Will Do Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff and physicians. Assist in recognizing and addressing the unique care needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with the healthcare team. Apply problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one of the following: Current nursing student with two completed semesters, graduate of a Registered Nurse program, LPN, EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant program completion, or Certification in Phlebotomy. Valid BLS certification or obtained during Patient Care Orientation. Preferred Qualifications Previous Clinical Tech experience. Experience in an acute care setting. Schedule:
36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Shift:
7:00 PM

As a Clinical Tech , you'll play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of our dedicated nursing staff and physicians. Whether you're taking vitals, assisting with procedures, or simply ensuring comfort, you'll be a vital part of the patient journey. Surgical Universal Bed Unit
  • 20 bed unit Mixed acuity unit with opportunities to see patients from ICU level of care through discharge Specialized population with skilled staff trained in the surgical specialty and trauma population Innovative team using evidence-based practice to support nursing autonomy and workflow Flexible scheduling
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your day-to-day impact includes: Collecting and recording essential patient data
  • vitals, food and fluid intake/output, and more
  • with precision and care. Responding to patient needs and partnering with RNs to ensure maximum comfort and safety. Noticing the little changes that can make a big difference
  • and reporting them promptly.
Supporting mobility by helping patients ambulate and get where they need to go. Assisting with oxygen devices under RN direction and applying slings post-pacemaker procedures. Performing clinical tasks such as Foley catheter insertion, bladder scans, enemas, blood glucose checks, and documenting results. Providing help with daily activities, like dressing, meals, and hygiene. Supporting RNs during equipment use and bedside procedures. Delivering culturally sensitive care to a wide range of patients — from pediatrics to geriatrics. Promoting positive experiences for patients and their families through kind, respectful interaction. Performing phlebotomy and IV access procedures with confidence and care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To qualify, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: Current nursing student who has minimally completed two semesters or has graduated from a Registered Nurse program. Graduate of an LPN, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant program Certified in Phlebotomy Previous Clinical Tech experience Also required: Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to tailor care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Experience in an acute care setting (preferred, not required)
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED
Valid BLS certification (or must be obtained during Patient Care Orientation)
