Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare setting where your expertise in Nursing - ORT and Certified Surgical Technology directly supports exceptional patient outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to operating room safety, surgical protocol, and collaborative patient care. This is a contract opportunity offering the chance to contribute to a skilled surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required Experience supporting nursing and surgical procedures as an ORT Proven competency in sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment set-up Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multi-disciplinary settings Ability to remain focused and poised under pressure Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) Previous hospital or surgical center experience preferred
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available; details provided during interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and organize surgical instruments for each case Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during procedures Maintain aseptic technique and facilitate a safe environment for patients and staff Monitor, inventory, and sterilize equipment or surgical tools Adhere to strict infection control and patient privacy standards Support patient safety and comfort throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Document all care and procedures accurately and in a timely manner
