Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for certified Surgical Technologists with expertise in Operating Room Technology (ORT) seeking a dynamic role in a thriving healthcare environment. The position is based in Sterling Heights, MI, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced surgical setting. This contract role provides valuable exposure and professional growth for candidates dedicated to the delivery of exceptional perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment. Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment. Monitor and operate surgical technology as required. Adhere strictly to safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required. Proven experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) nursing. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
