Education:
High-School Diploma or GED are required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
Licensure:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Recognizes and reports emergency situations. Communicates with physician, confirms correct specimen and disposition to circulator (under the direction of physician. Communicates delays or completion before scheduled time to circulator to ensure efficient room utilization or schedule changes. Communicates instrument and equipment problems to appropriate team member and identifies repair needs according to policy. Technology Demonstrates competence in initiating and maintaining use of routine equipment and procedures. Performs technical skills relative to specific specialties i.e., assembling instrumentation and equipment (retractors, power equipment, etc.) Assists in evaluation of new products, equipment, policies, procedures and standard Fills out appropriate paperwork to assist with decisions. Stewardship Awareness Plans, organizes and evaluates work activities appropriately. Works efficiently and quickly producing high quality work.
