1 Description American Traveler is seeking an OR Endovascular Rad Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center in Springfield, MO, working day shifts on a 4x10 schedule. Details Main OR department within a large hospital system featuring 22 main OR beds, 8 ASC beds, and 10 orthopedic beds Patient population ranges from outpatient to critical care, including trauma cases 1:1 patient ratio Day shift, 4x10 schedule, with hours between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM Weekend coverage required on an on-call basis only, averaging 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month Float may be required to the cardiac cath lab to support vascular cases Imaging equipment includes Siemens and GE systems
EMR:
Epic Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent Endovascular Tech experience required ARRT or RCIS preferred; license required if applicable BLS certification from the American Heart Association required A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Surgical scrub experience preferred Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, and perform kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed Additional Information Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort Functions within the scope of applicable practice guidelines, mission, and service standards Facility-provided scrubs are required; no outside attire is permitted Flu vaccination or a facility-approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but should be aware that a reduced bill rate applies Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or reassignment to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required The facility is a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and a Level 2 Stroke Center, serving as one of only two Level 1 trauma centers within a 50-mile radius
