Surgical Technologist

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist to join our growing upscale Plastic Surgery Center! This position is PRN currently but has the potential to build to more! The ideal candidate will possess the following criteria:

• Plastics in a private office setting preferred
• Surgical Technologist Certification
• Confident and skilled
• Knowledge in sterilization and processing Responsibilities & Duties include:
• Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure
• Set up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure
• Anticipates the needs of the Surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to Surgeon during procedure
• Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization
• Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room
• Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient
• Anticipates additional supplies needed during the procedure
• Assists with cleaning of linens

Schedule Availability:

Need to be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We are looking to hire immediately. MUST be able to pass a background check. More hours possible as surgeon gets busy. If you're interested in the position, please send a copy of your resume and cover letter.
