Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Proficiency in OR techniques, including sterile field preparation and instrument handling Experience assisting surgeons and other healthcare providers in operative procedures Knowledge of infection control standards and surgical safety protocols Strong communication abilities and attention to detail Previous experience in a hospital operating room is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile environments Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols Accurately count supplies and instruments before and after each procedure Monitor and maintain strict aseptic technique at all times Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as directed by the surgical team Ensure all equipment is properly set up, functional, and safely stored following procedures This role offers an engaging work environment designed for professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
