In this vital role, you will work closely with surgeons and registered nurses, contributing to the safety and efficiency of surgical and invasive procedures. You'll play a crucial part in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, supporting our mission to provide exceptional patient care. What you'll do:

Prepare & Maintain:

Set up procedure rooms with all necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.

Sterile Expertise:

Demonstrate mastery of sterile technique, sterilization processes, environmental controls, and instrument decontamination.

Team Support:

Establish and maintain an organized sterile field, ensuring all team members adhere to sterile environment protocols.

Surgical Assistance:

Assist surgeons by providing visualization of the surgical wound, aiding with wound closure, and applying sterile dressings.

Anatomy & Instrumentation:

Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to surgical procedures, and advance your understanding of instrumentation across various surgical services.

Accuracy & Safety:

Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to established procedures. What we're looking for: A Certified Surgical Technician (CST). Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and surgical efficiency.
