12-hour Day or Night Shifts (AM-PM or PM-AM) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a contract assignment in the Birthing Pavilion at D-H Medical Center. The Surgical Technologist will assist the surgical team by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile technique, and providing support during obstetric and gynecologic procedures to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms and surgical equipment. Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures. Pass instruments and supplies while maintaining sterile technique. Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse. Prepare, inspect, and sterilize instruments and equipment. Ensure compliance with infection prevention and safety standards. Support patient care before, during, and after procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred, if required by state or facility. BLS Certification required. Previous Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, or Birthing Pavilion experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Why Join This Assignment? $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
