Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County's largest and most active health care facility-caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year. Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. BLS required.(American Heart Association)
Preferred:
Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. Certified nursing assistant preferred.

Per Diem Essential Functions:
The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's. Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
