Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where precision, efficiency, and attention to detail are paramount. The Certified Surgical Technologist will support surgeons and healthcare professionals by preparing operating rooms, ensuring adherence to infection control standards, and assisting throughout all phases of surgical procedures. This position is integral to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality surgical care within a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with aseptic techniques. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and managing surgical tools efficiently. Ensure strict infection control protocols are followed to prevent contamination and promote patient safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia, nursing, and radiology to facilitate seamless surgical workflows. Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to various specialties such as total joint robotic surgeries (Mako), Ent, Gyn, Urology, Urogyn, Podiatry, Hand, pain, coloreactal, general, and plastics. Assist with data collection for quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a sterile environment throughout all phases of surgery while adhering to the centers policies on infection control and aseptic technique. Experience Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center environment is required. Demonstrated proficiency in OR experience across diverse specialties. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection prevention practices. Experience assisting in complex surgical procedures involving acute care patients. Knowledge of ASC experience requirements including compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols. Pay:
$38.09 - $45.00 per hour
