• Queens Medical Group A Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers and clinical staff in a fast-paced multispecialty practice while ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and service.

In this role, you will: Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner. Respond promptly to patient inquiries and direct concerns to the appropriate team members when necessary. Observe and report patient conditions to clinical staff and document relevant information in the medical record. Obtain and document vital signs, including height, weight, pulse, and blood pressure. Perform phlebotomy, and specimen collection as directed by Medical Providers Assist with patient positioning, wound care, and dressing changes. Prepare, collect, label, and arrange the transport of laboratory specimens. Assist with patient transport and clinical workflow as needed. Maintain adequate supplies in examination rooms and clinical areas; notify appropriate personnel when inventory requires replenishment. Ensure examination rooms, equipment, and clinical areas are clean, safe, and compliant with infection control standards. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of clinical equipment and report repair needs promptly. Assist with obtaining medication prior authorizations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and practice operations. This is a full‑time, Monday-Friday day shift position (9am

• 5pm).

The role is primarily based at our Downtown Flushing location. This position may also require travel to additional sites as operational needs arise.

Preferred Criteria:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA) Minimum of one year experience as a Medical Assistant preferably in an outpatient setting Bilingual Chinese preferred
