Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent Background in the Operating Room environment (ORT), with strong foundational nursing knowledge Proven ability to handle instruments, supplies, and equipment effectively during surgical procedures Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within surgical teams BLS Certification (required) Previous travel experience is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all instruments and sterile supplies are in place Assist surgeons and nursing staff before, during, and after procedures Maintain aseptic technique and provide critical support to ensure patient safety Monitor and account for all surgical materials and instruments Document surgeries according to facility standards and assist with post-operative room turnover
