$1,600 Weekly Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist to support a fast-paced Operating Room team in a hospital setting. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring the operating room is properly prepared for each case. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile Assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards Perform surgical scrubbing duties for a variety of operative procedures Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and preparation for subsequent cases Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and procedures Required Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting required Current Surgical Technologist certification required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Prior Operating Room scrub experience required For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
