Certified Surgical Technologist Tulsa Oklahoma Plastic Surgery Tulsa, OK Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $32 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Suturing Certified Surgical Technologist Plastic surgery Full Job Description This a private plastic surgery operating room suite dependent on each other in a highly cohesive team. Well establish surgeon with 20 years of experience with several months long surgeries and consults already scheduled.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing the operating room for surgery, including setting up surgical instruments and equipment
  • Maintainace of
JCAHO/QUAD A/ OSHA
certification
  • Maintain a sterile field during surgery to prevent infection
  • Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
  • Properly clean operating room between cases
  • Assist with patient positioning and transferring during surgery
  • Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure Keeping an accurate inventory is a must Flexible and hyper patient expierence focused
Skills:
  • Strong retraction
  • Suturing a strong positive, though oppurtunities to learn how to properly suture and acquire first assist skill sets
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols in a hospital and surgical setting
  • Use of an autoclave, instrument cleaning and processing Absolute following of
JCAHO/QUAD
