Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a certified Surgical Technician with specialized experience in the operating room (ORT) setting. Schedule/Hours:

10-hour day shifts, 6:45am - 5:15pm Specific days to be discussed during the interview

Qualifications:

Active Surgical Tech Certification required Minimum of two years' operating room experience Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Proficiency in a variety of surgical cases and familiarity with aseptic techniques Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and sterile processing staff Attention to detail and capacity to remain calm in urgent situations

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile conditions are maintained Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies Verify and arrange sterile supplies and instruments prior to surgery Monitor and count instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after surgical procedures Perform post-procedure clean up and assist with transport of patients as needed Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly This 13-week contract is designed for a motivated professional ready to deliver exceptional patient care and surgical support in a fast-paced environment.
