1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 2+ years of OR experience in ENT, Neurosurgery/spine, Ortho, and Urology specialties for a General OR position. Details General OR setting Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Blocked scheduling in place No weekend requirement Holiday coverage optional No on-call requirement Uses Epic charting system Requirements Minimum 2 years of OR experience required BLS certification required CST and NCCT certifications preferred Experience required in ENT, Neurosurgery/spine, Orthopedic, and Urology specialties Epic charting experience required Valid state license or certification required if applicable Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration Additional Information Scrubs provided First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate differential Perform aseptic technique, isolation precautions/PPE, sharps safety, specimen handling, and sterilization/disinfection procedures Follow Universal Protocol (time-out) procedures for surgical safety Utilize electrosurgical units and fiber optic light sources/cords RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; additional time off requests after that point cannot be accommodated
