Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist 1001 Health Park Drive, Brentwood, TN 37027 From $33 an hour - Part-time From $33 an hour - Part-time Guthrie Facial Plastic Surgery, located in Brentwood, Tennessee, seeks an experienced Certified Scrub Technician to join its office-based surgery team.
Part Time/PRN Pay:
From $33-45/HR Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or possess current nursing license. Must maintain an active CST license license in the State of TN. Plastic surgery experience strongly preferred, but not required.
The position will include:

  • Working in the comfort/privacy of an office-based surgery center.
The position is for 1-2 days per week and/or PRN with 6-8 hours/day. There are no nights/weekends and no call.
Qualification Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist Prior plastic surgery experience is highly desired Tuesday availability is required The ideal candidate is a great team-player who is organized, professional, and focused on providing exceptional patient care. You must have the knowledge and experience to ensure the highest standard of patient care and maintain a sterile, organized surgical field during surgical procedures. You must also be able to understand the surgeries being performed and be able to appropriately assist the surgeon as needed. Responsibilities of the Position Include, but are not Limited to: Assisting the surgeon during the operative procedure as a first-assist Preparing and maintaining supplies for the OR Preparing the OR for cases Sterilizing equipment and instruments before and after cases Assisting in circulating duties when necessary Monitoring conditions in the OR Continuously assessing the needs of the patient and surgical team Various preoperative and intraoperative duties
