1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular and pediatric OR experience for a children's hospital position. Details Pediatric OR unit within a children's hospital setting Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with Thursdays off On-call responsibilities of approximately 3-4 calls per month 13-week assignment length Requirements NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required Minimum 2 years of experience required with prior travel assignment experience, or 3 years of experience required without prior travel experience Cardiovascular (CV) surgical experience required Pediatric surgical experience strictly required Cerner EMR experience preferred License required if applicable Must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all fall during the assignment, or 1 of 2 if only two occur during the assignment Additional Information Candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment; first-time travelers will not be considered Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible, with no local candidates accepted Former permanent staff or travelers at this facility must be separated for at least one year before being eligible to return All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration, as RTO requested after an offer is made will not be honored
