Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment as a CST - First Assist, working alongside an expert team within a high-acuity hospital setting. In this vital position, you'll put your First Assist and Scrub expertise to use across a broad range of surgical specialties, supporting world-class care for adult patients.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts, 7a-7p Days of the week will vary (no block scheduling available) Contract roles available with start dates of 6/1, 6/15, 6/22, and 6/29

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required Prior travel assignment experience is essential Active CST First Assist certification through NBSTA (CST-FA) must be on file at submission—no exceptions for alternate certifications Scrub and First Assist experience in the OR required Strength in orthopedic, ortho spine, abdominal robotics, and plastics procedures highly preferred Only accepting travelers who reside more than 75 miles away; local travelers not accepted

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons in a 56-room OR in both inpatient and outpatient settings with exposure to all major surgical case types including neuro, trauma, vascular, robotic, general, plastics, transplant, and more Float as needed within the OR (but not outside locations) Deliver exceptional care to adult patients in a Level 1 trauma center Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields Contribute your skills to a collaborative and fast-paced team This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of innovative procedures with a diverse adult patient population, including trauma and transplant cases.
