You are a critical guardian of the patient's journey. From precision positioning to meticulous draping, you ensure safety, dignity, and clinical excellence at every stage of the procedure.
Guardian of Accuracy:
Take ownership of the sterile field with masterfully organized workflows. By maintaining 100% accuracy in instrument and sponge counts, you serve as the final word in patient safety from incision to closure. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Per
TCA68-57-101
(a), non-certified applicants must have at least 18 months experience as a surg technologist in the 3 years preceding May21,2007; or began the appropriate training to be a surg technologist prior to May21, 2007, & completed by May21,2010.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
