Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care during surgical procedures. This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the operating room. Ophthalmology and pain experience preferred. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for use. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing other necessary support. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in the operating room (OR). Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with healthcare staff. Experience Ophthalmology and pain experience preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of medical-surgical procedures and patient care protocols. Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for effective communication within the surgical team. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
