Travel Surgical Technologist (CST) — 21101 | Corpus Christi, TX Join a major acute-care facility in Corpus Christi and support pre-op surgical teams with patient-focused, aseptic OR assistance. Maintain sterile technique by actively monitoring for potential breaches in aseptic practices. Prepare patient skin for surgery and support pre-operative comfort, privacy, and patient dignity. Transport and position patients for surgery based on procedure type. Set up the operating room (tables, instruments, supplies) according to the type of case. Establish and maintain the sterile field , passing instruments and assisting as directed by the physician. Support surgical environment safety , including traffic control, OR sanitation practices, and universal barrier precautions. What You Need Required CST License
OR LVN/LPN
License BLS required (AHA only) High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years Neuro surgery experience minimum Preferred Experience across additional specialties: General, Ortho, Plastics, Urology (Uro), ENT, and Vascular Ability to scrub 3 specialty areas , including (but not limited to) specialties such as Neurosurgery, Open Heart, Urology, Robotics, Transplants, Titanium Rib (examples provided by facility) About the Assignment This assignment supports a leading acute-care hospital environment with a Level II Trauma Center and a wide range of surgical specialties. You'll assist pre-op and intra-op workflow by maintaining aseptic technique, preparing patients and the OR, and supporting the surgical team across neurosurgery and additional specialty cases.
