1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong neuro experience for a 13-week OR travel assignment in Fort Worth, TX. Details Hospital OR setting with 12 operating rooms on the 2nd floor Surgical Care OR unit performing orthopedic procedures, general surgery, advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, bariatrics, and neuro surgery including spine and craniotomies May float to CVOR for peripheral vascular surgery coverage 1:1 patient ratio Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Weekend call rotation is self-scheduled by staff Meditech EMR in use 13-week assignment Requirements CST certification is required; no SFA accepted Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience, or completion of a peri-op internship program Strong neuro (spine and craniotomy) experience required Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role BLS certification from AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date License required if applicable (state licensure required in VA and CO) US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information DaVinci robotic experience is preferred Orthopedic experience is preferred CNOR certification is preferred; candidates open to pursuing the CNOR exam upon qualifying will be considered Scrubs are provided by the department Ideal candidates are outgoing, confident, friendly, and strong team participants No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
