We're hiring certified surgical techs now — before the first case — which means you'll help build the instrument trays, write the preference cards, and decide how this OR runs. If you've spent years working with someone else's poorly built trays, here's your chance to build them right.

• Interventional Pain Job Duties Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and organizing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment in accordance with aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools with precision and speed.

Anticipate the surgeon- pass before they ask! Maintain accurate documentation of medical records, including surgical notes, vital signs, and procedural details within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as HST Pathways or eClincalWorks (eCW). Support patient care activities by monitoring vital signs, ensuring patient comfort, and adhering to physiology knowledge during surgeries in various specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, pediatrics, and trauma care Operate medical equipment safely and effectively while adhering to hospital policies on infection control and equipment sterilization protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with healthcare standards for acute care, ICU procedures, trauma response, and hospital medicine practices Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by collecting data related to surgical outcomes, infection rates, and equipment usage Manage loaner trays and vendor coordination Materials management/supply coordination Help us build trays, preference cards, and par levels from scratch! Sterile Processing experience is a must. We're a small team and must be cross trained Requirements Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from an accredited organization is required (NBSTSA or NCCT) Proven experience assisting in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in surgery assistance across multiple specialties such as orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, pain management, etc Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and treatment of fractures or trauma injuries Hands-on experience with medical equipment operation, sterilization processes, and handling surgical instruments is essential Familiarity with hospital-based EMR/EHR systems like HST Pathway or eClinicalWorks (eCW) for documentation purposes Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory Excellent analysis skills for data collection related to patient care metrics and infection control practices Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety standards Join us in making a difference through dedicated surgical support! $26.00 - $43.00 per hour
