Full Job Description Role Overview:

The Surgical Technologist assists in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, handling instruments, and supporting surgeons and nurses. They ensure a sterile environment, monitor patient safety, and participate in post-operative recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment with necessary equipment and tools Assist during surgeries by passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting the surgical team Handle and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols Monitor patient positioning and safety pre- and post-surgery Document procedures, patient information, and surgical details accurately Support patient transfer and comfort during recovery

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program Certification options include national boards or military training pathways Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and team-oriented
