1 Description American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Tech for a hospital CVOR unit position, requiring 2 years of experience and BLS certification, with first-time travelers welcome. Details Work in a hospital CVOR unit Cardiovascular patient population requiring open heart, valve, and vascular surgeries Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour days (6:00-16:30) Specialized cardiovascular procedures include aortic aneurysm repair, CABG, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, and TAVR Equipment used includes electrosurgical units and fiber optic light sources/cords Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CVOR surgical tech experience BLS certification required Proficiency in aseptic technique, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time-out) procedures Experience with cardiovascular procedures including aortic aneurysm repair, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, and
TAVR CABG
