Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel position (specific shift details provided during interview process)
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and operating room staff during cardiovascular procedures Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, including sterilization of instruments and setup of surgical equipment Monitor supplies, manage instrument trays, and ensure compliance with infection control standards Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other team members to support patient safety and positive surgical outcomes Assist with documentation and uphold high standards of care during all procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular operating room experience Previous experience supporting cardiovascular or open-heart surgery cases strongly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities Active BLS certification (and other credentials as applicable) Flexibility and desire to work in a travel role across diverse surgical settings
