The Surgical Technician will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.Essential Functions Additional Information:
Patient Populations Served:
Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.Protected Health Information Accessed:
Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.Exposure:
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.Additional requirements include:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Graduate of a surgical technology program preferred .Experience:
Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility.Certifications:
