1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist/OR Tech with Level 1 trauma experience for a 4-week rotating day/evening hospital OR position in Burlington, VT. Details Hospital OR setting in Burlington, Vermont 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, 40 hours per week Scrubbing general and sports medicine cases Float required; weekends and on-call coverage required (approximately 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 2 weeks, subject to change) Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling Requirements Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required Level 1 trauma experience required within the last year Prior travel experience required AHA BLS certification required NBSTSA certification required; CNOR preferred At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor (one from within the past 6 months, one from within the past year) SSN and DOB required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Scrub general and sports medicine surgical cases Flexibility is essential as call and weekend requirements are subject to change Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended Candidates applying from New York may be considered with proof of a pending NY license Pay rates are tiered based on distance from the facility: travel (101+ miles), radius (51-100 miles), and local (50 miles or less) All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for consideration Two supervisor or nurse manager references are required, with at least one from within the past 6 months
