1 Description American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with cardiac scrubbing experience for a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital position, requiring a Washington state license in hand. Details Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center within a 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital CVOR unit requiring the ability to scrub all cardiac procedures 1:1 patient ratio Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-call requirement of once per week and one weekend per 6-week schedule Epic charting system used, experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience required BLS certification required ASATT and NBSTSA certifications preferred Washington state license required in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted); license required if applicable Epic EMR experience preferred Experience with vascular procedures including AAA repair, atherectomy, carotid endarterectomy, EVAR, and femoral popliteal bypass graft Experience with cardiovascular procedures including aortic aneurysm repair, ASD repair, CABG, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, and VAD General surgery experience including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and hernia repair preferred Experience with case cart and crash cart equipment Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered and screened for this role Scrub color requirement is any color Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities within the health system No fee for parking Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff, including location and dates
