Job Description
Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare setting and play a vital role in supporting surgical teams as a certified Surgical Technologist. Your expertise in the Operating Room will be key to ensuring high-quality care and smooth surgical procedures. We are seeking driven professionals with proven experience in both Nursing - ORT and Surgical Technology who are ready to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for various procedures. Scrub in and assist surgical teams by anticipating needs during operations. Ensure a sterile environment through proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment. Maintain clear and accurate documentation relating to procedures and patient care. Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers. Keep an organized, well-stocked surgical suite according to established protocols. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations within the OR. Support post-operative care and assist with patient transfers as needed.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program/certification. Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required. Experience in an OR setting and familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent). Knowledge of proper infection control and safety protocols.Schedule/Hours:
