M-F 0800-1700
Summary:
Provides support to the Centralized Telemetry Department to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of telemetry monitoring equipment and department specific information. Collaborates with monitoring technicians to verify correct attachment and receipt of telemetry signals while at the patient's bedside. Responsible for delivery and maintenance of inventory, including inventory storage, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Centralized Telemetry, a department in which trained monitor technicians observe and analyze various heart rhythms of patients who are admitted to the Centralized Telemetry Monitoring system. Technicians monitor patients within Baptist Health. Constant communication with nursing staff regarding changes in rhythm status is key to patient care. Technicians will call CODES if lethal rhythms are detected for patient safety and positive outcome of patient condition Other information: Education High School Diploma or GED Computer skills required This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
