Job Description

Under the Leadership of the Unit Manager, Supervisor, and/or Charge Nurse, is responsible for cardiac monitoring, observation, and reporting of cardiac rhythm changes to the nursing staff for further investigation when indicated. Provides assistance in patient as directed by professional nurse according to the mission, philosophy, policy and procedures of Barstow Community Hospital. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a fundamental nursing knowledge.
Experience:
More than one year in Telemetry monitoring, EMT certification, or Completion of basic dysrhythmia course.
License or certs:
EMT certification, preferred and basic dysrhythmia course and BLS Required.
