JOB SUMMARY
The Critical care Technician under the direct supervision of a registered nurse participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. This position includes, but is not limited to following the essential functions. Essential functions include; functions within the established policies and procedures of the Nursing Department of Garfield Medical Center, responsibility for collaboration with the RN for efficient, cost effective use of time and equipment, provides care to designated patients and prioritizes based on patient's care requirements as delegated by the RN, an interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. One year experience in ED or Critical Care preferred. EKG Certificate upon hire
