Job Description
Responsible for performing clerical functions for a patient care unit facilitating the flow of information between medical and nursing staff to maximize unit efficiency. Acts as a resource person between ancillary departments and patient care unit. Utilizes the hospital wide computer system for order entry, admission, transfer and discharge functions (ADT). Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience preferred . Work requires the ability to gather and interpret data in situation where the information or problems are not overly difficult or complex. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters.
